At Last, a Scientific Study That’s Not Too Good to be True!
A recent study confirmed that dark (but not light) chocolate is associated with decreased depression. This is probably due to psychoactive ingredients in dark chocolate that act as mood enhancers. Also, the flavonoids in dark chocolate have anti-inflammatory effects; and this may also contribute to the decreased depression.
Honestly, I don’t care what the biochemical explanation is– I’m just so damn happy!
